Problem Definition
The client wants to revitalize the park due to dying trees. This includes, but is not limited to, Footpaths, location of entries, and monuments. For this to happen, the Committee needs to have a concept of how the layout of the park would look. Based on existing concept art, proper visualization has to be done by the student. Additionally, the Volkspark committee wants to use the visualization as a pitch to potential investors, so that more funding will be available.
To achieve the desired product, certain points have to be closely monitored, in order to avoid any roadblocks:
- What workflow can be used to achieve the best possible performance?
- What can be done to get the most detail out of a photogrammetry model?
- How can detailed foliage be achieved?
- How can the future park architecture reflect the original from 150 years ago?
- What additional assets can complement the virtual environment?
